Urlacher took a slight step backward in his fourth season after a phenomenal 2002. His 2.5 sacks were his lowest in his four-year career, as were his 87 tackles. Offenses ran right at him and he was unable to shed blockers as easily as he had in the past. The loss of Rosevelt Colvin in free agency affected Urlacher's numbers much more than anyone had expected. This season, expect the Bears to remedy the situation by forcing their linemen to pick up more blockers, allowing Urlacher room to roam.
