Chosen by the Guardians of the Universe, Earth's Green Lanters (there have been several) make up the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic police force bound to fight those who would bring innocents to harm. Each Green Lanter is given a power ring, which allows him to perform any number of tasks, including flight, time travel, translation of intergalactic languages, force field generation and many more.
This figure is the Kingdom Come (Alex Ross) version of The Green Lantern, many years older and clad in advanced new armour.
